Das Hamlet-Syndrom

The war in Ukraine has profoundly affected the young generation since 2014. A few months before Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022, five young women and men in Kiev took part in a unique stage production that tries to connect their experiences of war with those of Hamlet's dilemma. For each of them, the stage is a platform to pour out their grievances and concerns about Hamlet's question of "to be or not to be". In cooperation with Filmpalette Köln, a discussion with the filmmakers Elwira Niewiera & Piotr Rosolowski will take place afterwards.
