Combining the world of catchy danceable electronic music, LUCIA LIP's diligently composed melodies juxtapose her raw vulnerability with a sense of urgency. She is here with a fresh ‘n’ heady mix of dark synthpop and sultry off-world romanticism. Lucia’s voice is with its camp theatrics at times diva-esque, and at other times a moody and soulfully understated whimper. It pulls us in with a delirious yet soothing drawl of pure intoxication.
Hailing from the suburbs of Paris, France, with Italian and German roots, a music background of training in classical voice, such as the training of viola, piano and electric guitar, LUCIA LIP started as self-taught electronic music artist in the 2010s in Berlin, Germany. While writing and producing her music, touring and performing over the years in several cities and countries, she is also cohost of the newly established berlin-based queer events »Suck My Lips«, giving a platform to other as female identified DIY artists.
