»It's time to think about dance as a live experience again,« says choreographer Richard Siegal. After months of not being able to meet the audience, it's finally time again: life after the virus!

For his first full-length ballet choreography after the pandemic, Richard Siegal dedicated himself to the composer Alva Noto, who is considered a pioneer of digitally generated electronic music. The focus is on his opus magnum XERROX, a gigantic electronic composition in four parts. Music that seduces and irritates, moves and overwhelms.

Richard Siegal's choreography impresses with that extreme, almost superhuman physicality for which the Ballet of Difference ensemble has become known worldwide. For the visually stunning staging, Siegal is once again working with the light artist Matthias Singer, whose artful light spaces have already made many Ballet of Difference works so unmistakable. XERROX Vol. 2 promises to be an audiovisual work of art.
