Performance art

EVERYTHING IS DRAMA is our training series for teachers, educators and interested people who aim to get practical impulses for their theatre and production work. Usually, we offer a module dedicated to one topic every season. After biographical theatre and the staging of classical texts, this season we are devoting ourselves to the processes of performance art. Together we will explore the interdisciplinary approaches between (self-)performance, theatre and installation, browse definitions and dedications and try out what potential there is to be discovered in this broad field - for ourselves, but of course also for our own theatre (teaching) practice. The contents are practically tested, own ideas can be tried out in the group and the transfer to the different target groups can be made. Each unit ends with a paper handout summarising all exercises and materials.

The training series EVERYTHING IS DRAMA will take place on 4 dates, each from 5.30 to 8.30 pm on 26.10., 02.11., 09.11., 16.11. All four dates are included in the ticket price of 60€ per person. Please register for the series via email to theaterstadtschule@schauspiel.koeln
