DUTIES - TALKING ABOUT GENERATIONS

SCENIC READING
CARLsGARTEN
A new generation is growing up. Another says goodbye. Time to hand over. How can this generational weight be carried, shaken off, distributed? The OLDSCHOOL enters a field of tension between responsibility and freedom. Between street fights, family heritage, climate change and monument preservation, the players search for intergenerational justice. Duty calls. Who answers? The result is a staged reading with texts by over 20 senior citizens.

After RISIKO, OLDSCHOOL has again embarked on a biographical writing process. Supported by a young production team, multimedia forms of expression and a flexible cast, the project takes place in extraordinary locations away from the big stages.
