SOUL CHAIN is a play about love and longing, about a great loneliness within us, that opposes the love of life. The movement vocabulary is animalistic and pure, a steamy group moving in rhythmic unison and the highest discipline to the beats of the Israeli composer Ori Lichtik. An electrifying total work of art in which the ensemble releases their innermost power. For SOUL CHAIN, Tanzmainz received the Theatre prize, THE FAUST, in 2018.

Sharon Eyal, born in Jerusalem, danced in the Batsheva Dance Company from 1990 to 2008, where she choreographed her first pieces. Between 2003 and 2004, she was the company’s associate artistic director and was the house choreographer until 2012. Since 2009, she has also choreographed for other companies, including Carte Blanche, Norwegen, Hubbard Street Dance, Chicago, and for the Netherlands Dans Theater. In 2013, she founded her own company, L-E-V, with Gai Behar. In 2017, she was awarded the prestigious FEDORA prize.
