Manning

Mason Manning was born in Dallas, Texas and is a proud graduate of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. During his training, he was named a Texas Young Master in Dance by the Texas Arts Council and received the National Young Arts Foundation's highest honor for modern dance. After completing his basic training, he studied dance at the Juilliard School in New York City under the direction of Lawrence Rhodes. There he danced in works by Crystal Pite, Jiri Kylian, Aszure Barton, Jose Limon, Richard Alston and other renowned choreographers. Mason received his first permanent engagement in Germany in 2018 at the Ballet im Revier Gelsenkirchen under the artistic direction of Bridget Breiner. Mason then went on to dance in the Richard Siegal / Ballet of Difference company at the Schauspiel Köln since from 2019 until 2022. Today Mason is a freelance artist working with Schauspiel Koln as an actor and dancer, as well as working with the international ensemble of La Fleur BB. Mason also works as an art and dance maker in stage and installation performances in and around Germany.
