After his debut album and tour under his own name in 2016, Leipzig musician and producer Arpen Daks withdrew from the limelight. He toured as live keyboardist for the electronic act Monolink and worked as a pianist and composer on studio productions. Arpen composed film music for film director Thomas Stuber and directed music videos. As well as writing songs for other artists through his work for the agency Golden Ticket and the publishing house Kick The Flame. From 2019 onward, he worked on theater-specific music productions with Friederike Bernhardt and compositions of stage music for Schauspiel Leipzig, Theater Lübeck, Staatstheater Wiesbaden, Staatstheater Saarbrücken, Volkstheater Wien, and Volkstheater München, for productions by directors Mirja Biel and Claudia Bauer.
