Elizaveta
Barkalova

Born in Donetsk, Ukraine, Barkalova Elizaveta completed her dance education at the Belorussian State Ballet College in Minsk in 2011. The same year she joined the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus, where she worked for a season and returned to Ukraine. Since 2012 she continued her career at the Donetsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater under the direction of Vadim Pisarev where she performed the classical repertoire including The Nutcracker, Giselle, Don Quixote, La Corsaire, Esmeralda. In 2014 she moved to Kiev and participated in the project The Great Gatsby in collaboration with Complexions Contemporary ballet and Mariinsky Theater by choreographer Dwight Rodin and she also performed Stabat MATER by Edward Klug. She has been principal guest ballerina in Moscow Ballet Theater, St Petersburg Tchaikovsky Ballet Theater and St Petersburg Ballet Theatre where she performed Swan Lake, La Bayadere, Sleeping Beauty, Les Sylphides on ballet tours in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, UK, Ireland, France, USA and participated in gala performances in Latin America, Spain, Italy. In 2022 she joined the Ballet Magdeburg in Germany as a principal guest dancer, working with choreographer and director Gonzalo Galguera. Elizaveta joined Richard Siegal \ Ballet of Difference at Schauspiel Köln in October 2011.
