No Fear: Punk

The magnificent and megalomanic attempt to tell the story of punk moves from Vienna to Cologne. Art and people both need anarchy – now more than ever – so they can break up entrenched conventions, churn out utopias and celebrate failure – chaos is vociferously calming in times of crisis. Andy Warhol’s Factory was one location for this kind of artistic anarchy. And it is here that NO FEAR: PUNK begins. Actor Uwe Schmieder and his temporary, grassroots anarchic collective blend music and texts – by candlelight, with sick video art and real sweat – in a way that’s raw, imperfect and full of energy. Pop art icon Andy Warhol is bound to want to return to the spotlight to grab another “15 minutes of fame”!
