Julia Riedler (born 1990) is an actress and radio play narrator. She studied at the University of Music and Theatre Hamburg. In her final year, she was permanently engaged at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg and received the Boy-Gobert Nachwuchspreis in 2013. From 2013 to 2015, she was a permanent ensemble member at Schauspiel Köln, and from 2015 to 2020 at the Münchner Kammerspiele, where she received the Förderpreis des Vereins zur Förderung der Münchner Kammerspiele (2015), the AZ-Stern des Jahres for Best Actress (2016), and the Bayerischer Kunstförderpreis (2017). Since 2020, she has worked freelance at venues including Thalia Theater Hamburg, Schauspielhaus Zürich, Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin, the Salzburg Festival, and in Vienna at the Volkstheater and Burgtheater, where she was nominated for the 2021 Nestroy-Theaterpreis for Best Supporting Role. She has appeared in various film and TV productions, including “Tatort” (2022 Frankfurt, 2025 Köln), the ARD series “30 Tage Lust” (2024), and the French feature film “Conann”, which premiered at Cannes in 2023.
