Originally from Switzerland, Michèle Seydoux attended vocational school in Zurich and completed her classical ballet training with a diploma from the Heinz-Bosl-Stiftung in Munich. Her first engagement was with the ballet at Theater Dortmund, followed by three years at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein. She then spent fourteen seasons with the ballet at the Staatsoper Hannover, initially under the direction of Jörg Mannes and later for four years under Marco Goecke. During this time, she performed numerous principal roles in works by renowned choreographers such as Jiri Kyliàn, Andonis Foniadakis, Mauro Bigonzetti, Johan Inger, Hans van Manen, and many others. In recent years, she has developed several of her own choreographies, including “Betweenness“ which was invited to the TANZtheater International Festival. She has also closely collaborated with Schauspielhaus Hannover, choreographing dance scenes for various productions.
