Viktoria Gurina (born 2001 in Bishkek) is a video artist and filmmaker who has been working freelance in theatre, film, and art since 2017. At Schauspiel Köln, she was responsible for video design in several productions with the Import Export Collective. Her collaboration with Bassam Ghazi led her to Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, where she contributed to the Stadt:Kollektiv productions “Working Class” (2022) and “Romeo and Julia” (2024). In 2022, she worked as a video artist for the production “Pisten” at Theater Münster. She is also active in the independent theatre scene, participating in projects such as “Shame my name” (2020) by Konnective and “Welcome to the digital Paradise” (2023) by Ensemble2030. Alongside her theatre work, Viktoria studies Media Arts with a focus on film directing at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne. Her interdisciplinary approach includes projects in film, photography, animation, and theatre.
