Please don’t stop the music: Paula Carbonell Spörk grew up singing and making music in Vienna and in the Burgenland. While still an acting student at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna, she began performing in productions at the Volkstheater directed by Anna-Sophie Mahler and Kay Voges. She also performed as a singer and pianist at the Theater am Spittelberg, the Donauinselfest and the University of Applied Arts Vienna. Whether in the musicality of language or the rhythm of movement and scenes: theatre and music blur into, enhance and need each other. Paula Carbonell Spörk’s first ensemble engagement now brings her to Cologne.
