Between old factory buildings, new neighbourhoods, and the stories of Keupstraße, Cologne-Mülheim is full of life and memories. Our local guides take you along on walks, sharing stories of resistance, community, and the vibrant Mülheim of yesterday and today. Together, we discover favourite places, hear personal anecdotes, and experience how the Veedel keeps changing. Each tour is a piece of lived Mülheim — told from the perspective of the people who call this place home.

In this edition, we explore the themes of #MOTHERFUCKINGHOOD. Together, we playfully approach the complex tension between motherhood and turbo-capitalism.

Just before the performance begins, we actively dive into the production: performing, engaging with the narrative, and familiarizing ourselves with its themes. As part of IMAGINE, we focus especially on the aesthetics of the non-verbal, the art of presence as a range of possibilities — from everyday subtleties to absurd disruptions. A warm-up for all those eager to play, while the ensemble simultaneously prepares backstage.
