The Carlsgarten is a 3,000 m² urban community garden located on the grounds of the former Felten & Guillaume cable factory in Cologne-Mülheim. Among roughly one hundred raised beds, you will find a stone oven, a seed library, worm composting, an environmental trail, an open-air stage, a bar, the „Wild Hill“ above the grotto, as well as a variety of seating and lounging areas. The Carlsgarten thrives thanks to the dedication of the gardening team, the local community, Schauspiel Köln, and many volunteers. Its motto: „Those who help may harvest.“
