Andreas Grötzinger had an international upbringing in Sweden, Japan and Switzerland. His acting studies took him to Rostock from 1994 and 1998, and his first full-time engagement then brought him to Cologne. Since then, he has worked with directors such as Mina Salehpour, Oliver Frljić and both Jette and Frank Patrick Steckel, and he has appeared on stages in Frankfurt, Hamburg, Malmö, Düsseldorf, Gent, Uppsala, Vienna, Berlin and Stockholm. He has also taken part in readings, concerts, audio dramas and books, as well as radio, TV and film productions. What would he like to play more often? Savage musical comedies – he enjoys challenging the audience.
