Born in Dallas, Texas, USA, Mason is a proud graduate of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. While in school, he received the Gold Award in Modern Dance from the National Foundation for the Advancement of the Arts/Young Arts, one of the highest honors for young talents in the arts. He then went on to receive his B.F.A at the Juilliard School in New York City. Mason received his first permanent engagement in Germany in 2018 at the Ballett im Revier under the artistic direction of Bridget Breiner. He then danced with Richard Siegal, Ballet of Difference at Schauspiel Köln from 2019 to 2022. There, he was nominated as ‚Dancer of the Year‘ by Tanz-Magazin. Mason‘s own choreographic works have been performed at Lincoln Center, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Schauspiel Köln, Schauspielhaus Wien, Kolumba Museum and the International Choreography Competition in Copenhagen. Today he works as a freelance artist at various theaters in Europe as a performer, dancer and choreographer. Mason is currently based in Zurich, Switzerland.
