Lavinia Nowak’s priorities are performing more Kleist, not doing without Kleist and seeing more Kleist! She grew up in Munich and appeared in TV productions at an early age. After completing a bachelor’s in German Literature, Philosophy and Foreign Languages at LMU Munich, she then studied Acting at the Theaterakademie August Everding, graduating in 2020. During the course she performed as a guest at the Residenztheater, Volkstheater and Kammerspiele in Munich, working with directors who included Claudia Bauer, Luk Perceval and Antonio Latella. She then joined the ensemble at the Volkstheater in Vienna. In 2022 Lavinia Nowak was nominated for the Nestroy Prize and as Best Emerging Actress of the Year in Theater heute magazine. Why theatre?
