Studio Vorspiel

At STUDIO SPL KLN, seven passionate acting students spend the final two years of their training at Schauspiel Köln. They not only perform in productions at Schauspiel Köln, but also receive training from members of our ensemble. In STUDIO VORSPIEL, these emerging performers present the results of this work to an audience: intense monologues and scenes, immediate and focused entirely on the interplay of text and character. Across programmes ranging from classical works to contemporary literature, audiences can experience the students' artistic development over the course of two years.
