Traudl Bünger is an author, dramaturg, and cultural mediator. She was part of the editorial team of lit.Cologne, later headed phil.Cologne, and in 2017 became one of the founding members of lit.Ruhr. In her curatorial work, Bünger explores points of contact between art, society, and political realities, developing formats that move between text, performance, music, and discourse. With ”Eisernes Schweigen. Das Attentat meines Vaters” (2024), she published her literary debut: a non-fiction book that intertwines personal history with contemporary history and is based on research in more than 20 archives; the accompanying podcast was nominated for the Prix Europa. In 2025, together with Anne Brorhilker, she published the Spiegel bestselling book “Cum/Ex, Milliarden und Moral”. At SchauspielKöln, Traudl Bünger hosts the talk series BABY, DON'T GIVE UP!.
