Helena Eckert is a dramaturg and is part of the new dramaturgy team at the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz in Berlin, led by Matthias Lilienthal. Previously, she worked as resident dramaturg at the Schauspielhaus Zürich in Switzerland and at the Münchner Kammerspiele in Germany. Since then, she has collaborated closely with the directors Susanne Kennedy and Leonie Böhm. She has also worked as a freelance dramaturg in various fields, including theatre, visual arts and documentary film.
