Fantasy, thrills, pleasure – for Elias Eilinghoff, theatre is a celebration. Having been born in Duisburg and grown up in Mülheim an der Ruhr, he is now coming home again after studying Acting at Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts and full-time engagements at Theater Basel, the Residenztheater in Munich and the Volkstheater in Vienna. He has worked with directors including Claudia Bauer, Simon Stone and Markus Öhrn, was awarded the Nestroy Prize for Best Supporting Actor in 2022 and was immediately nominated again in 2023, this time for Best Actor. He thinks everything belongs on stage that stimulates imagination, gives pleasure and encourages actors to pull out all the stops.
