Calle Fuhr specialises in putting themes on stage that everyone has an opinion about, but few people have any genuine knowledge of. Born in Düsseldorf, he is a director, playwright and performer – and frequently collaborates with investigative journalists from CORRECTIV and DOSSIER or experts in economics from FiscalFuture. After working in Berlin, Basel, Luxemburg and Vienna, Calle Fuhr is now resident director and writer-in-residence at Schauspiel Köln. His works for stage and screen have been invited to numerous festivals – such as the Radikal jung Festival in Munich and the Berlinale. What makes theatre special?
