Paul Grill grew up in Berlin and Hamburg, trained as an actor at HMT Leipzig and has since held ensemble engagements in theatres in Dresden, Cottbus, Heidelberg, Karlsruhe, Basel, Stuttgart and at the Deutsches Theater Berlin. For Paul Grill the theatre remains a place where it is possible to work with empathy, openness and a combination of interiority and externality, presence and curiosity. What interests him is the experience that the actors and audience share directly.
