Berit Jentzsch trained as a stage dancer at the Palucca University of Dance in Dresden. She worked with numerous international dance companies and was a member of the Belgian company Ultima Vez as well as the Montreal-based company Van Grimde Corps Secrets. Since 2009, Berit Jentzsch has worked as a choreographer and performer in collaboration with various directors, including Armin Petras, Kay Voges, Xavier Le Roy, Corinne Maier, Laurent Chétouane and Anna Frick. From 2009 to 2013, she was part of the ensemble at the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin, and from 2013 to 2018 she was an ensemble member and resident choreographer at the State Theatre in Stuttgart. In addition to her artistic work, Berit Jentzsch is also active in movement education and teaches at institutions such as the University of Music, Drama and Media Hanover.
