Dana Khamis gets people moving – through theatre that touches, connects, and transforms. Growing up in Jordan, she discovered early on the power of the stage as a space for expression and togetherness. Today, she creates workshops, projects, and spaces for play in which people can rediscover themselves and the world around them. With a degree in Public Policy and International Relations, as well as training in theatre education in Cologne, she brings together art and political education. In collaboration with the Forum Civil Peace Service, she develops creative formats focused on peace, participation, and conflict resolution. Together with Judith Niggehoff, she led the youth theatre group "Polylux" at Schauspiel Köln for the productions "Facing Destiny" and "Trauer//Fall.” Since 2024, she has been a permanent member of THEATER – STADT – SCHULE.
