Michael Sieberock-Serafimowitsch (born 1966) has worked since 1993 as a designer and choreographer, creating costumes and stage designs for drama and opera at venues including Schauspielhaus Bochum, Theater Dortmund, Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, Staatsschauspiel Dresden, Schauspiel Essen, Staatstheater Stuttgart, Volkstheater Vienna, Volksbühne Berlin, and Oper Leipzig. He has collaborated with directors such as Hermann Schmidt-Rahmer, Kay Voges, the directing duo Leonhard Koppelmann and Peter Jordan, and over many years with Laura Junghanns, Paul-Georg Dittrich, Wolfgang Engel, Sybille Fabian, Michael Gruner, and Heidemarie Rohweder. In 2017, Michael Sieberock-Serafimowitsch was nominated together with Mona Ulrich for the German Theatre Award Der Faust for the production design of “Die Borderline-Prozession” (directed by Kay Voges). From 2020 to 2025, he served as head of design at Volkstheater Vienna.
