Tommy Finke (born 1981 in Bochum) is a composer, musician, and sound artist known for his clear artistic vision and distinctive style. After studying Electronic Composition at the Folkwang University of the Arts, he worked in a wide range of theatrical contexts – including serving as Musical Director at Schauspiel Dortmund from 2015 to 2020. His music spans pop, electronics, sound art, and noise. He regularly collaborates with renowned theaters across the German-speaking world, composes for film and radio plays, releases his own songs, and performs as a solo artist. Through his label Retter des Rock Records, he is committed to preserving and promoting an independent music scene.
