
Born in Mönchengladbach and trained at HMK Leipzig, Bastian Reiber has gone on to perform in theatres nationwide. His collaboration with Herbert Fritsch began at the Neues Theater in Halle while he was still a student. He then joined the ensemble at Theater Magdeburg until 2012, the same year that he was voted Emerging Actor of the Year in Theater heute magazine. Subsequent engagements took him to Schauspielhaus Hamburg and both the Schaubühne and Volksbühne in Berlin. In 2015 Bastian Reiber was awarded the Körber Stiftung’s Boy Gobert Preis for Most Promising Actor. He began directing his own productions in 2016. His television appearances include “Der Tatortreiniger”, “Magical Mystery” (director: Arne Feldhusen, 2017) and “Stasikomödie” (director: Leander Haussmann, 2022).
