Informationen about the presale
Advance ticket sales open on the 5th of each month for the following month. If the 5th is a Sunday or public holiday, the advance ticket sales will open on the next working day. Subscribers and season pass holders will be able to book their tickets or redeem their voucher one day before the official start. Tickets purchased online are also available as a print@home-ticket or e-ticket. If you wish to make a ticket reservation, the ticket will be reserved for up to six days, or for a maximum of three days before the performance date. Reserved and pre-paid tickets can either be collected at the evening box-office or posted within Germany within the timeframe of at least five days before the performance. If reserved tickets are not collected before the announced date, they will be re-sold. As a subscriber, the redemption of vouchers as well as reductions on the SchauspielCard and PartnerCard are available exclusively at the ticket service of the Bühnen Köln.
Pupils, students, trainees and participants of the Voluntary Social Year (FSJ) and Federal Voluntary Service (BFD) (up to the age of 35), receive a 50% reduction on the price of a regular ticket in the advance ticket sale, as well as for the fixed seating subscription (not including category 4 and 5). A flat rate of €7 at the evening-box office is offered on remaining tickets. This is applicable to all seats in every venue, except for guest performances, dance guest performances, special events and performances in the Grotte.
Recipients of benefits under Social Code Book II (SGB II), severely disabled persons with a degree of disability of 100% or with a B in their disabled person's card and owners of the Cologne Pass, receive a 50% reduction on the price of a regular ticket and on the fixed seating subscription upon presentation of proof. Legitimate accompanying persons receive a free ticket. Groups of 10 persons or more are given a 10% discount. Groups of 20 or more receive a 20% discount.
Performance ticket = public transport ticket
Admission tickets are valid in the extended Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Sieg (VRS) transport network as public transport tickets travelling to and from the venue. The journey to the venue can be made, at the earliest, four hours before the official performance start time as indicated on the ticket. The return journey must be completed by the end of operation hours on the day of the performance.

Please have your tickets and, if applicable, your subscription card or concession card ready to show at the entrance upon request. Late admissions will only be granted access in exceptional cases. The evening box office opens one hour before the performance. We kindly ask for your understanding that the evening sale has priority over the presale.
Give away a theatre performance as your next present! The recipients of the vouchers can decide how to spend their evening at Schauspiel Köln. The best thing about it: You can purchase the voucher directly and print it out at home!
Ticket Redemption due to cancelled performances
Visitors who have purchased tickets for a performance that had to be cancelled due to illness of the ensemble can either receive a voucher for the ticket amount or have the ticket refunded free of charge. Depending on availability, it is also possible to exchange your tickets for another date.
If you purchased your tickets online, please contact the after-sales service below. Online ticket sales are not managed by Bühnen Köln, but by an external ticket shop. In the event of a performance cancellation, all visitors who purchased their tickets from Bühnen Köln or DERTICKETSERVICE/KölnTicket will be informed by email or telephone. Online ticket buyers will receive additional information by email from DERTICKETSERVICE.
